The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in an LA Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The influential game designer died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a highway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
