Shock as Renowned South African DJ Shot Dead in the City of Johannesburg.
A renowned South African radio and club DJ has been murdered in the metropolis of Johannesburg, triggering widespread grief across a nation grappling with persistent crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was gunned down in the downtown area on the afternoon of Tuesday.
Authorities reported the forty-year-old media personality was approached by a trio of assailants, one of whom began shooting at him before fleeing on foot.
The reason behind the attack has not been established and no suspects have been apprehended have been made, police said.

Law enforcement said that Stock was ambushed as he was leaving a premises close to the city center landmark.

The DJ attempted to flee after he was hit but collapsed across the street.
