A devastating explosion at a security post in Indian-administered Kashmir has led to the fatalities of nine persons and harm to thirty-two others, according to official statements.

The blast occurred on Friday evening at the Nowgam police station, where detonation agents confiscated in Faridabad region in the northern state of Haryana were being held provisionally.
Local law enforcement head declared that the detonation substances were awaiting technical investigation when a "very unfortunate" incident during processing resulted in their blast at approximately 23:20 in the evening.

Numerous cars were "covered in blaze and transformed into ashen remains, with debris scattered across the area," according to authority statements.

The majority of the victims were police officers, along with forensic personnel, two investigative imaging experts, and a tailor who was accompanying the group.
