On Monday, the court was told phone records and data obtained from phones logged Ms Wandelt repeatedly asking Madeleine's mother for a DNA test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - when she was three years old during a family holiday in Portugal - is among the most publicized missing child cases and is still unsolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

A separate phone message, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt stating: "I know I'm fat and not pretty like Madeleine was, but I know what I know."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am she? Then what? Wouldn't that be significant for you?"

"I don't want money, I possess a existence here in Poland, I simply desire to know," she added.

The panel was advised that through electronic messages, mobile messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, transmitted childhood photos to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a resemblance to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.

The investigator, a data specialist with Leicestershire Police who compiled the information, told the court there "showed no any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, based on the communication logs.

On October 9th, 2024, the father responded to a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "incorrect contact information."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt recorded a message on Mrs McCann's voicemail stating "I won't give up and I will prove my claim."

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had contacted using WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to express the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the time preceding the trip to the village, Leicestershire, in that winter.

The court was told communications between the two defendants, in November 2024, planning attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from cutlery at a eating establishment.

"We have to take action," Mrs Spragg advised Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the visit to their house, Mrs Spragg transmitted a text which expressed: "We're currently sat near the McCanns' residence with our vehicle dark like detectives. I had hoped to achieve this with Peter Andrew I never thought I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The proceedings proceeds.
